Crystal grids run on repetition: the same stone at every station, and twenty matched cubes of satin spar gypsum, named plainly as everywhere on our shelf, supply a whole geometry's worth of the tradition's cleansing stone. The custom sets them at grid nodes, lines them along windowsills and thresholds, tucks one in each corner of a room the practice wants kept clear, and rests one beside whatever needs the clearing file nearby. Cubes sit still where spheres roll, which is the format's quiet advantage. The dice clear nothing on their own, as we say plainly; they give the bright mineral's custom twenty stations at once.
