Which Candle Holder Fits Which Candle?

Match the holder to the width of your candle. A ½-inch chime candle wobbles in a taper holder, and a taper won't fit in a chime holder.

Chime candle holders. These fit ½-inch chime candles, including our 4-inch and 5-inch chimes and the 10-inch chime sets. The cast iron holders are 1¼ inches tall on a 1-inch base, heavy enough not to tip, in plain, pentacle, triquetra, and triple moon designs. The glazed ceramic holders are 1 inch tall in white, gold, and silver, plus black with a triple moon or a moon and star. The fairy star holders, in silver and gold tones, are made for 4-inch chimes. Taper candle holders. The Triple Moon Candle Holder stands about 7 inches tall, and the Moon Phases Holder holds up to seven tapers across 7½ inches. The pentacle, button, and star holders are simple single-taper holders. The pentacle-and-bird, Tree of Life, and triple-moon-and-pentacle holders are 3½-inch iron bowls with a 1-inch dish inside for a taper. If a candle leans or wobbles, a wax candle adapter wrapped around its base straightens it and holds it tight. Keep tealights in their metal cups. To clean out old wax, let the holder cool completely, then pop the wax out or scrape it with a wooden craft stick.
