The flying broomstick is one of the strangest survivals in the whole history of witchcraft, and it comes to us through the trial records rather than through practice. What lies underneath it is probably the flying ointment: preparations recorded in the early modern sources containing genuinely psychoactive and genuinely dangerous plants, and the sensation of flight they were said to produce.

That is a grim origin for a joke, and it is worth knowing. What the sticker does is take an image that was once used to accuse people and wear it lightly, on purpose. There is something to be said for that.

2. Peel and place it carefully, smoothing outward from the center to avoid bubbles.
3. Choose the spot with some care, since removal can be difficult.
