None, and we would rather say that plainly than invent one. This is an electronic lamp. It has no correspondences, no tradition, and no properties, and anyone selling you a USB projector as a protective tool is having you on.

What it does have is a real effect on a room, which is not nothing. Practitioners who work at night, or who meditate, or who simply want a space that does not feel like a bedroom with the light off, tend to find that changing what the room looks like changes how the work goes. That is ordinary and true and does not require any metaphysical claim to support it.

Stargazing itself is about as old as human attention. If a ceiling full of stars puts you in a particular frame of mind, that is worth having. The lamp is a mood, not a working.

1. Set it on a surface where the projection has a clear run at the ceiling, ideally somewhere central rather than tucked in a corner.
2. Turn off the other lights. The effect is dramatically better in a dark room and fairly underwhelming in a lit one.
3. Use the remote to find a brightness that suits the room. The lowest settings are usually the most atmospheric.
4. If you use it during meditation or night work, set it before you begin rather than fiddling with it partway through.
5. Switch it off when you are done and keep the lens clean with a dry soft cloth.

How big is the projection?

It covers a ceiling in an ordinary bedroom comfortably. Distance changes the spread, so moving it further from the surface gives you a wider, dimmer field and closer gives a tighter, brighter one. Experiment with placement.

Does it need batteries?

No, it runs on USB power. Any phone charger, laptop port, or power bank will drive it, which also means you can use it somewhere without a convenient socket.

Is it bright enough to use as a night light?

On the lower settings, yes, though it is designed as an atmosphere piece rather than a reading light. In a fully lit room the projection largely disappears, so it wants the lights off to do its job.

Is it safe to leave on overnight?

It is an LED device and runs cool, but as with any powered item we would not recommend leaving it running unattended overnight. Switch it off when you are done, and keep it away from anything that could cover it.

Is this actually a spiritual tool?

No, and we would rather tell you that. It is a lamp. If a starlit room helps you settle into meditation or night work, that is a real and ordinary benefit, but the lamp is not doing anything to your energy.
