Swift Lite quick-light charcoal, ten 33mm tablets in a foil-sealed roll. Touch a flame to the edge, watch the sparkle cross the disc, and in a minute you have a steady glowing coal ready for resin, loose herbs, and powder incense.

The consumable half of censer work: every screen burner and brass censer needs its discs.

  • 33mm discs, roll of 10. The standard censer size.
  • Foil-sealed. Stays dry and ready between rituals.
  • The dished top holds resin. Frankincense, myrrh, copal, and blends.

Product Details

  • Swift Lite quick-light charcoal tablets, 33mm, 10 per foil roll
  • For burning resins, dried herbs, and powder incense in a heat-safe censer
  • Handle only with tongs; a lit disc is intensely hot long after it stops glowing visibly
  • Burn over a bed of sand or ash in a ventilated space, and never leave burning charcoal unattended

How To Use

  1. Bed the censer. Lay sand or ash in a heat-safe burner to take the heat.
  2. Light with tongs. Hold the disc by tongs, touch flame to its edge, and let the sparkle cross the surface.
  3. Wait for the grey. When the surface ashes over grey, the coal is ready; add a pinch of resin or herb to the dished top.
  4. Ventilate and finish cold. Burn in a ventilated space, never leave it unattended, and douse spent discs in sand or water before discarding; a disc stays dangerously hot well after it looks done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I light one?

Hold it with tongs and touch a flame to the edge. The quick-light formula sparkles across the disc; when the surface greys over, it is ready.

How long does a disc burn?

Long enough for a full working; add resin in pinches as the session goes.

Why the sand bed?

Sand or ash spreads and buffers the intense heat, protecting the burner and whatever it sits on.

How do I put one out?

Douse it in sand or water and leave it until fully cold. A disc holds serious heat long after the glow fades.
