Reversing work is the tradition's formal refusal: negativity, ill will, and hostile work named, declined, and released back to its origin, with the custom's ethic kept plainly, the working guards your own and turns harm away rather than striking outward. The oil is the working's dressing: a white or black candle anointed and burned attended while the refusal is spoken, petition papers touched at the corners, the charm bag's contents sealed with a drop. The oil returns nothing on its own, as the honest tradition has always said; it dresses the boundary while the drawing of it stays the practitioner's own steady work.
