Letting-go workings are the practice's quiet housekeeping: the habit outgrown, the tie outlived, the weight carried past its use, named and formally set down. The tradition's format is simple on purpose, a candle burned while the release is named, herbs dished or sachetted beside it, the guide walking the order, and a boxed kit exists so the working can happen the evening it is needed rather than after a supply run. The kit releases nothing on its own, as the honest tradition has always said; the naming and the setting-down are done by the one working, and the box just keeps the tools ready.

1. Follow the guide card: name plainly what is being released.
2. Burn the teal candle in attended sittings on a heat-safe dish.
3. Dish or sachet the herbal packets beside the flame; dry use only.
4. Close in the guide's order, and store the box for the next season's letting go.
