Many pagan and Wiccan practitioners honor the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone together as the Triple Goddess, three stages of a woman's life linked to the waxing, full, and waning moon. The poet Robert Graves shaped much of how she is understood today in The White Goddess (1948), drawing on older triple goddess figures from European myth.

AzureGreen, the maker, lists the 100mm ball as made with 10% quartz crystal, which is the same crystal glass blend used across their gazing balls. It's not a solid quartz sphere; a natural quartz ball this size would cost many times more. The base is cold cast resin.

Does the ball lift off the base?
