The coil cage solves the jeweler's oldest small problem: most tumbled stones are never drilled, and half the best ones would crack if you tried, so the spiral cage grips instead, expanding around a stone and springing back to hold it, loop up, ready for a chain. Two dozen means the whole workflow is covered: the market table's made-while-you-wait pendants, the gift that lets someone wear the stone they just chose, the practice that rotates its pocket stones onto a cord by the week. Soft stones like selenite, too fragile for a drill bit, are exactly what the cage was made for.
