Practice travels, and the travel altar is the craft's old answer: the working's essentials in a tin, so a hotel room, a new office, or a borrowed space can be cleared and claimed in a few quiet minutes. This one packs the purification cast: salt, the universal clearing mineral; thyme, the courage-and-cleansing herb of European folk custom; quartz for the tradition's all-purpose focus; white string for simple binding and intention work; sage smoke for the clearing itself; a white tea light in the clean-slate color; and a mojo bean for the pocket afterward. The tin clears nothing alone; it keeps the working within reach, which for a traveling practice is most of the battle.

1. Set the tin's contents out on any stable surface: the surface becomes the altar.
2. Light the sage over a heat-safe dish and let the smoke clear the space, then light the white tea light.
3. Cast a pinch of salt at the threshold, set the quartz as the working's focus, and speak the clearing.
4. Snuff everything fully before packing up, and refill the bottles at home as they empty.
