Osun Santeria Pedestal Roaster Cup, 10-Inch

An Osun standing staff, about 10 inches tall: a metal pedestal topped with a small cup and a rooster. Osun is one of the Warriors of the Lucumi tradition, received alongside Elegua, Ogun, and Ochosi, and stands guard over the practitioner's wellbeing. It is kept standing high in the home and watched closely, since by tradition it must never fall. Note that Osun the guardian is distinct from Ochun (Oshun), the river orisha.
