Sachet powders, sometimes called dusting or dressing powders, are a staple of hoodoo and the wider botanica tradition. A fine powder carries a condition, here the money-drawing condition, in a form you can sprinkle: across a threshold to draw money into a home or business, onto a petition paper, into a candle's dressing, or into the corners of a wallet or till. The powder does what the oil does, in a form suited to dusting a surface rather than anointing an object.

This one is made by Oungan and Manbos, the priests and priestesses of Haitian Vodou, and offered as consecrated. We name that plainly and leave it there: the consecration is the maker's, made within their own tradition, and we defer to how they frame it rather than dressing it up or explaining it on their behalf. Vodou is an initiatory religion, and a dusting powder sold from it is a practical article, not an entry into the tradition itself.

What we will say in our own voice is the same thing we say about every money article here: it is a focus for the work, and the work assumes you are also doing the ordinary things money comes from. The powder concentrates intention. It does not replace effort, and we will not tell you it does.

1. Dress a candle. Anoint a green candle with oil, then roll it in a little of the powder so it clings, and burn it for the working.
2. Sprinkle a threshold. A small line of powder across a doorway or business entrance, in the traditional draw-it-inward direction.
3. Dust a petition. Write your specific aim, name the amount, and dust the paper with powder before you fold and keep it.
4. Work the wallet or till. A trace in the corners of a wallet, a cash box, or a register.
5. Keep it external and dry. It is a dusting powder, not something to bathe in or take internally. Wash your hands after handling.
