The three stones sit at different points of the same register, which is why they are grouped. Rose quartz is the heart stone of modern crystal practice, kept for gentleness and for the kind of love you extend to yourself; it is a contemporary attribution rather than an old one, and we name it as such. Garnet has a longer record and a warmer character, tied in the older sources to Mars and the element of Fire, and worked for vitality and passion. Green stones are read broadly in modern practice for harmony and the heart.
