A Hecate pendant is used for devotion, protection, and crossroads work in modern Hellenic and witchcraft practice. Hecate is the ancient Greek goddess of thresholds, night, and magic, honored at doorways and three-way crossroads; Hesiod praises her in the Theogony, and her triple form, three bodies facing three roads, goes back to classical statues called hekataia set at gates and crossings.
