Litha, the Summer Solstice, is one of the eight sabbats of the witch's Wheel of the Year, falling around June 21 when the sun reaches its highest point and the day is longest. It is a fire festival of light, abundance, vitality, and joy, traditionally marked with bonfires, feasting, and celebration of the sun at the peak of its power.
