A silver-tone pentagram wall hanging, 15 by 6 inches, with five stones dangling beneath the star to catch and scatter the light. It hangs where a window or candle can find it, part emblem, part suncatcher, and does both jobs honestly: the pentagram declares the space, and the stones make the light move.

The Emblem in the Light
Hanging the pentagram is the practice's oldest décor instinct, the emblem placed where the household and its guests will meet it, and adding stones to swing beneath is the suncatcher's contribution: light made kinetic, the wall given a little weather. Placed near a window it throws moving glints through the day; over an altar it catches candlelight in the evening; by a doorway it greets the coming and going. The hanging does no warding of its own; it declares the space and delights the light, which is honest work for a wall piece, and plenty.
Step by step
How To Hang This Piece
- Choose a spot with light to catch: near a window, over the altar, or by a doorway.
- Hang from a secure hook or nail rated for its weight.
- Dust the stones and star with a soft cloth as needed.
- Indoors is its home; weather is unkind to silver-tone finishes.

Where does it look best?
Anywhere light moves: beside a window, above an altar's candles, or by a doorway that catches the afternoon.
