Amethyst has a genuinely long history. Lavender's use is likewise old and practical. It was strewn, hung, and packed into linen across Europe, and its association with calm and with clean space is well attested rather than invented for the metaphysical market.

The gem spray itself is modern, and we would rather say so. Combining charged water, botanical hydrosol, and stone into a mist is a contemporary format from the last few decades. 3. Use it to open a working: a light pass over the space, a stated intention, then begin.
4. Some practitioners mist a room before sleep or before divination. Both are common and neither needs anything elaborate.
5. Keep the bottle closed between uses and store it out of the sun.

Can I spray this on my crystals?

Some of them, and the distinction matters. Selenite, angelite, hematite, and pyrite should never be misted, since water damages them. Use smoke or sound for those. Quartz, amethyst, agate, and jasper handle a light mist without trouble.

Can I use it on my skin?

Is there actual amethyst in the bottle?

Water-based preparations have a limited life once opened. Keep it closed, keep it out of sunlight, and discard it if it turns cloudy, smells off, or develops any growth. Do not try to rescue it.

Will it stain fabric?

It is a fine mist rather than an oil, so usually not, but it is still liquid. Test somewhere inconspicuous before misting upholstery, curtains, unsealed wood, or leather.
