Lughnasadh, also called Lammas, is the first of the three harvest festivals in the Wheel of the Year, marked at the start of August when the first grain is gathered. It is a threshold of thanksgiving and of taking stock: honoring what has grown through the season, gathering in the first fruits, and recognizing the work that brought them.
